About Us
Since 1888, the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office has served the largest geographical county in Washington State. The expansiveness of the area makes essential our partnership with residents, local communities and their law enforcement agencies, and with other service providers local, state and federal, to ensure public safety is best served in this culturally and geographically diverse area.
The Sheriff's Office provides a number of customer services to the public including concealed pistol licensing, service of civil process, sex offender registration, certain event permits, and other services. We provide answers to questions about the enforcement of criminal laws, warrants, the county corrections center (jail), etc.… If you would like more information about these or any other Sheriff's Office function, see the ‘How Do I’ or ‘Get Information’ links on the left or please call (509) 422-7200.
The Okanogan County Sheriff's Office team is comprised of four divisions: Patrol Division, Corrections Division, Emergency Communications Division, and the Records Division. Each division is run by a Chief Deputy who reports to the Undersheriff and then to the Sheriff. I am extremely proud of our team and the way each division works with each other to support the community and accomplish our mission.
To learn more about the divisions and what they do, please visit the ‘Our Teams’ link on the left.
