Civil Process is the processing of documents for service. The Sheriff's Office Records Division serves process sent to us from the courts and Prosecutor's Office, as well as from private citizens. Some of the more common processes that you will see are: Summons and Complaints, Parenting Plans, Dissolution of Marriage, Subpoenas, Small Claims, and Protection Orders. A few of the less common processes are processes that are orders from the court, such as: Writ of Restitution, Writ of Execution, Order of Sale, etc.
Fees are associated with the service of process, with the exception of protection orders.
