When applying for a passport please bring the following things with you:
- If you are applying for a child’s passport, you must bring that child to the appointment.
- Certified copy of applicant's Birth Certificate, Hospital Birth Certificates and Birth Registrations/abstracts are not acceptable. You can obtain a Certified copy of your Birth Certificate from Vital Records in the State from which you were born.
- United States passport book or card (can be expired)
- Original Naturalization Certificate
- If you have unusual circumstances, please call ahead to our office at 509.422.7275 we may be able to find additional solutions to help you through the process.
- One Passport Photo. These need to be specific passport photos, please visit the Passport Agency Website for details.
- Driver's License or State Identification. If applicant is under 16 years of age, we require both Parents present with Identification.
- If the applicant is older than 16 but younger than 18, they must be present with identification. In addition, it is required that one parent be present with identification.
Prior to the appointment time, please have all application forms filled out completely and not signed, we have to WITNESS your signature on the application.

Days/Hours for appointments: Monday through Friday: 9:00am-11:30am and 1:00pm-3:00pm

The Passport fees are two-part application fees (checks made directly to U.S. Department of State) and the Clerk's processing fee.
***We now offer Passport photos for $10.00.

For an extra fee you may expedite your passport, you will add an additional $60.00 to the total fee amount (processing time 7 to 9 weeks)
All passport forms can be found at travel.state.gov or in our office. You may also contact 1-877-487-2778 for additional assistance.
If one parent cannot be present, the parent who cannot attend must have a notarized Parental Consent Affidavit in place of the parent. You can find this form on the website above.

Per Passport Application Fee check or money order ONLY.
(Please note each application requires its own form of payment.)
Clerk's Processing fee all forms of payment are accepted.
