The Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office is seeking quality applicants for selection to serve as a law enforcement officer. Patrol Deputies perform law enforcement duties throughout the unincorporated areas of Okanogan County, the largest geographical county in Washington. Deputies work independently and must be good communicators and problem solvers.

Wage is $31.38-$38.72 DOE.
Lateral or Certified Entry Incentives
- Time in Service Allowance - New hire presently employed with a public LE agency when hired shall receive for purpose of pay and benefits, credit for one half their years in service not to exceed 4 years. Additionally, time in service credit will be applied to step increase computation for wages.

*Academy trained/certified – A candidate who does not meet the Lateral Entry requirements (currently employed as a certified peace officer and at least two years with that employer) but who has a current/valid peace officer certification or equivalent from a state certification authority.
