Corrections Deputy
Okanogan County Sheriff's Office currently has 7 openings for Entry/Lateral Corrections Deputies.   

Entry Corrections Deputy applicants can apply in two different ways. Applicants can apply locally with the Okanogan County Civil Service Examiner or online through Public Safety Testing. Both require a written test and a physical agility test.

To apply through the Civil Service Examiner, complete the online application here: Civil Service Application/Personal History Statement. Then contact the Civil Service Examiner to find out the next available test, or to arrange to complete the written and physical ability testing. Lateral Entry Corrections Deputy applicants will begin the hiring process by applying directly with Okanogan County Civil Service. 

NOTE for Lateral Entry Applicants: Once application is complete, attach a letter of intent, resume and any current certifications, which must include academy dates of completion. If you would rather, you may print out the Personal History Statement and attach the needed documents and email to Civil Service Examiner/Secretary Vicky Poole or send by USPS to Civil Service, 123 5th Ave N., Rm 150, Okanogan, WA 98840.
