For increased security of personal information, only individuals with specific relationships to the person on the record being requested can receive a certified copy. Identity and proof of relationship documentation will be required. Click on link below for acceptable proof of ID.
BIRTH AND DEATH CERTIFICATE APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30AM – 4:00PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY IN OUR OFFICE!
Birth/Death Certificates can only be obtained from Okanogan County Public Health through the mail, and the cost is $25.00 per certificate payable by cash, check, cashier check, or money order made out to: OCPH

We are connected to the Center for Health Statistics (Vital Records in Olympia) and can issue certified copies of birth certificates (often used for passports, school enrollment, tribal enrollment, Social Security benefits, etc.) for individuals born in Washington State from 1921 to present.
Starting the end of 2014 our system went electronic. Any deaths occurring in Washington State from the end of 2014 to current can be requested here in our office. For deaths recorded prior to this you will still need to contact Center for Health Statistics in Olympia and request certified copies from them.
