RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS

OKANOGAN COUNTY

JUNE 24, 2020

The Okanogan County Board of Commissioners met in regular session via zoom at 123 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, Washington on June 24, 2020, with Vice Chairman, Commissioner Chris Branch presiding; Member, Commissioner Andy Hover and Laleña Johns, Clerk of the Board, present.

Chairman, Commissioner Jim DeTro was absent.

Commissioners called in via ZOOM audio/video.

Commissioner Hover explained he had previously left the sound baffling quotes for the fairgrounds Agriplex in his car and therefore the board was not able to make a decision earlier this week on the purchase of the baffling.

Four Quotes were submitted by Naomie Peasley for purchase of sound baffling for the County Fairgrounds Agriplex. Commissioner Hover explained the baffling was needed in the Agriplex, due to COVID-19 requirements, in order to provide a large enough space that could adequately serve as a courtroom and jury selection venue for upcoming trials of Superior Court. The sound system
needs to be of very good quality and will be once the sound baffling is in place.
