Okanogan County Public Works
Okanogan County Public Works is accepting applications for the position
of Office Manager. This position will develop, manage and direct multiple
revenue and expenditure transactions on a cash basis for all funds within
control of the Department of Public Works as well as provide useful accurate
and timely financial information to management of the Public Works
Department and for the purpose of annual financial reporting as required for
the State. Coordinate all financial account activities with other County,
State and Federal agencies/organizations. This position will also manage and
perform personnel and human resources activities for the Public Works
Department in coordination with the County Human Resources Department. This
position supervises the financial and administrative staff within the
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,
or a closely related field plus two (2) years of increasingly
responsible experience in government finance, accounting auditing,
financial reporting and budgets; OR an equivalent skillset based on a
combination of education and experience in performing the duties of the
- Supervisory experience
- Possession of a valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Background in specific computer applications, i.e. Microsoft Word
and Excel, experience with CAMS and/or Eden a plus.
The salary range for this position is
$3,957 - $4,810 DOE. The county also provides a generous benefit package
which includes, paid vacation and sick leave, retirement, life insurance and
medical/dental/vision insurance coverage at no cost to the employee.
