Lead Recording Deputy

Okanogan County Auditor

The Okanogan County Auditor is recruiting for the position of Lead Recording Deputy. This is a full-time, benefited union position with a starting salary of $2,441 per month.

Individual in this position will perform all duties necessary to assure proper recording and preservation of documents, along with issuing marriage licenses and assisting in the search and retrieval of previously recorded documents. The successful applicant’s duties will require the working knowledge of the recording computer software system, clerical and office policies and procedures specific to the Okanogan County Auditor’s office, the use of good judgment and effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines.

Voter Registration Deputy Auditor

The Okanogan County Auditor’s Office is accepting applications for a Voter Registration Deputy Auditor. The individual in this position will perform all duties necessary to ensure proper registration of all eligible voters within Okanogan County and assist in the conduct of elections. Duties require the working knowledge of modern electoral, clerical and office policies and procedures specific to the Election Division of the Auditor’s office, the use of good judgment and effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines. This position also works in Recording and Licensing as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

A special requirement is working toward Election Certification and passing the WA ST certification test. Travel to off-site locations, attending meetings, seminars and other work related activities will be necessary, as is a Valid WA ST driver’s license.

This is a full time union position with excellent benefits. Beginning salary is $2,369.00.
