Okanogan County Auditor
Okanogan County Auditor’s Office is accepting applications for a Customer Service Specialist I - Licensing Clerk. This position provides vehicle licensing and registration services, and is responsible for examining documentation and applications for compliance with state laws, interfacing with State Department of Licensing, approving and issuing titles, registrations, permits, etc. This position also works in Recording and Elections as needed. The successful applicant’s duties will require the working knowledge of the various computer software systems, clerical and office policies and procedures specific to the Okanogan County Auditor’s office. Duties are performed under general supervision of the Auditor. This position requires the use of good judgment, independent decision-making and ability to provide courteous service at all times.
High school education or equivalent with two years of office work experience involving public contact. Keyboarding, computer, and 10 key skills required. Requires ability to read, understand and interpret laws, rules and regulations including RCW’s, DOL and DOR regulations. Ability to work under pressure and use tact, discretion and courtesy in working with the public, office personnel and interdepartmental contacts.
Starting salary is $2,301 per month with benefits. This position is open until filled.
